One dull rainy day at the beginning of November Eshan called Iqbal and me into his office. He taught them about the untied states. he taught that in Bosten every year they had this contest about who helped the world they gave the award to Iqbal also in Sweden they want Iqbal to speak there. then eshan said that he would be working with them. Iqbal would be helping them hes important to them. then they talk to Fatima saying that they have found her village. her heart jumped she was finally going home. then one day she stumbled Capone Iqbal try to read his speech. Iqbal wanted to take her and her little brother but she didn't want to go. when they gave him his prize and some ladies cried.

After dinner Iqbal made a solemn deceleration to the man and woman. He said that he wanted to stay and help free all the children who are slaves in Pakistan. Eshan said that wasn't possible to do that. Then Iqbal went to visit his family ten day later Eshan brought him back. Twig and little Ali and the others left. Iqbal had the crazy idea of to hit the moneylenders because there the blame for everything. Iqbal was full of plans for the future.

Then they go with the police men to the headquarters and the volunteers started to clap when they got there. They were afraid but Eshan Khan came to them and said you would be able to see your parents again

One spring day the big news was that Iqbal ran away once again. After a year that Iqbal arrived a bunch of things changed. Then they asked Maria to read something Iqbal gave them. It was about to stop exploitation of child labor. They went to work then Karim checked for all the workers. Then went to tell Hussain that one of the workers was missing.

Chapter 9
That evening Fatima and the rest of the people was around Iqbal's pallet.
Then Iqbal starts to explain his story. He reached the city at dawn. The sky
was gray and it was raining. There were tall house so tall you couldn’t see the
tops. Then after a while Iqbal became tried from talking because he was weak. Then
they said if they cant trust the police then whom can they trust. Then Iqbal
had a paper around then one of the oldest said you forgot all of us don’t know
how to read. But suddenly Maria said I know how to read.

Then Fatima said as soon that Iqbal escaped hussian got all his friends
and climbed into Toyota’s vans and went to search for him. And for now
they only had to work only one hour. Then after that one-day the master and his
wife came and said quickly quickly for them to go into the tomb. When they went
into the tomb a kid cloud see what was happening. So what was happening was
that there were policeman at the gate to search the house and Iqbal was with
them. Then suddenly they hear Iqbal say no she saw that the police was
giving Iqbal back. They took him in the house. They heard Iqbal keep on yelling
but it didn’t do anything. Then he put Iqbal in the tomb. Then one-day hussian
came to the workshop and saw Maria. He asked what she was doing and saw it was
a kite. Then said for her to go into the tomb. Then they said for him to send
all of them in to the tomb.

Then Fatima said that Iqbal was released from the tomb after 3 days. For
the next month ting went usual. Sometimes they could see heat lightning in the
sky reminding them that rain was on their way. Then hussian sold one of the
older boys and came with a new one. The new boy was tall thin. You could count
his ribs. They immediately named him twig. Twig was sent to sweep the workshop
the courtyard and sometimes the house. After they ate lunch they went slowly
back to work. During the afternoon hours there attention was easily distracted.
They started to talk and sometimes they even laughed. Hussian made Iqbal make
the same rug once again. Hussian kept a constant eye on Iqbal. But didn't say a
word. After Hussian left they would get into a circle. Then twig says that they
should all run way.

Then fatima starts to explain the tomb. you cant breath there said Salman who was there a few months ago.you feel your self suffocating and you think your going mad. if feels like some one is grabbing your throat and squeezing. then you begin to see strange shapes and colors. but they don't help you they only scare you. and that there's spiders and scorpions. there's usually music at night but after the foreigners visit the house there was no music tonight. then Karim said that when he was a little kid that hussian put a kid in the tomb for 5 days. he came out almost dead with all his skin coming off after he got well he would work. then fatima try to give food to Iqbal. they went in and meet Iqbal there and said to him that they will go there every night.

Fatima said that when the foreign costumers arrived was a special morning. Hussain couldn't bully to badly in front of their presence. That morning they had a bigger breakfast than usual which put them in a good move. They were allowed to laugh and chat while we waited to pass the filthy curtain outside the bath room. Karim was terrified by the idea that something could happen and the master would blame him. Most of the kids avoided Iqbal because they were envious. There master was passing around and suddenly turned white. He turned around to look at Iqbal's loom the carpet he made was perfect Iqbal worked better and faster then anyone else. Iqbal then cut the perfect rug in have with a knife. The master screamed like a pig. Before the master could get there Iqbal cut the rug in 2 more pieces. The mistress cried and picked up the pieces. Hussian said that Iqbal's previous master said that Iqbal was a traitor and a rebel then that he was a viper and to not to trust him but he was blind and stupid and that Iqbal was going to pay. Iqbal was sent to the tomb. Then they heard a loud bang and Hussian came up and told them to back to work.

Fatima said that more than month passed and nothing happened. the heat got wore and worse and they worked harder and harder. their keeper kept walking around the workshop nervously.the old timers knew that he was excepting a visit from clients when they stopped working there fingers all bled from the cuts the threads made.the rest of the kids there said that Iqbal wanted to become knew that wasn't true. then Iqbal said Hussein wont cancel the debut. he learned from his experience from his other masters.then Iqbal said to Fatima that one day he will get away from there.

That same night as soon the master turn off the lights they all crawled slowly to Iqbal's bed to talk to him. they asked him about his life and he said his story. his farther used to go out early in the boring when the first rays of sun came out to plow the ground. he would go with him carrying the bottle of waters and veggies his mother made them take. in the beginning his father would feel anything but in the afternoon his face would be red and sweat from doing the work. he said to his land that if you throw a seed and by the grace of god a family could live in abundance of the seed and told him to rem beer that.

chapter one
in the first chapter Fatima is explaining about where they live. the house of there master was half stone half sheet iron. across the courtyard from the house was a long building the carpet factory fourteen of us worked. we were all bonded to Hussain khan to pay off our family debuts. then she starts to explain about the different type of workers there was her type and the numskulls. then goes back to explain that every moring they would talk about there dreams. and that they only had to go to the bath room for certain amount of time. she would try to look out the window to see the world. she has been doing this for 3 years and that she didn't work any of her debut off until Iqbal came.
